  • Affiliation of each of the five authors must also be included in a separate cell including at least the institution, city and country separated by commas (e.g. Department of Zoology, University of Valencia, Valencia, Spain).
  • If there are additional authors they all must be placed in a single cell indicating the complete surnames and first names abbreviated with initials, and each author must be separated with comma (not with “and” or “&”). Add numeric indication for affiliations (e.g. Philips J.A.1, Tull J.2).
  • Additional affiliation for authors must be included according to numeric indication noted in additional authors, separating the institutions with semicolon. Please follow the same recommendation for the format of the first five authors’ affiliation to complete this cell (1Department of Zoology, University of Valencia, Valencia, Spain; 2Department of Parasitology, University of Wales, Bangor, UK).
  • Presentation preference (oral or poster) must be indicated by the authors.
  • Students who wish to apply for “Student Awards” must indicate it and provide their degree level

INFORMATION ON ORAL & POSTER PRESENTATION

ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Oral sessions will take place at the rooms AI-17, AI-18 and Darwin Auditorium. Oral presentations have a total length of 15 minutes, which should be partitioned as a maximum of 10 minutes for the oral presentation and 5 minutes for questions. Session chairs will be asked to enforce the time limits, as any delay (or advance) relative to the scheduled time will lead to confusion to the people shifting rooms to attend a particular presentation.

Presentations have to be delivered at the Audiovisual Room (AI-16A) from 10:00 to 18:00 the day prior to the presentation. Presentations should be prepared as ppt, pptx or pdf (softwares at the session rooms: Office Powerpoint 2007 & Adobe Reader). They must be delivered on a CD, DVD or Memory stick (virus-free, please!). At the time of delivery, please make sure to check the reproducibility of your slides, as no further changes will be allowed once the presentations are delivered. The presentation will be pre-loaded on the computers available at the presentation room of your session.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Posters sessions will take place at the lobby of the Faculty of Pharmacy (see map). The posters must be displayed before 10:30 am on September 1st. Panels will be numbered from 1 to 207, so authors can locate the panel assigned to display their posters following the order indicated in the Programme of the Symposium. This order will be also indicated in a table that will be available at the Poster Room. Materials for securing items to the boards will be provided by the organizing committee.
